Central Delaware Economic Summit
The annual Central Delaware Economic Summit is hosted by the Delaware Tech Charles L. Terry, Jr. Campus and presented in collaboration with the Central Delaware Business and Entrepreneurship Consortium. The summit brings together leaders in business, government, education, and the community, and serves to advance the common goal of improving the economic life in Central Delaware.
The next Central Delaware Economic Summit will be held on Wednesday, September 17, 2025.
The 2024 summit focused on Delaware's new recreational marijuana law and its impact on local businesses. The agenda featured a keynote address by Robert Coupe, the State of Delaware's Marijuana Commissioner.
The Summit will serve to accelerate Central Delaware’s economic progress by serving as a venue to:
- Inform Stakeholders
- Articulate Current Initiatives
- Facilitate and Identify Opportunities for Collaborative Initiatives
- Identify Future Opportunities
- Stimulate Action
